We kindly invite you to the 10th anniversary Student Ball of the Faculty of Informatics, organized under the SUFI name, which will take place on February 21, 2026, at the Semilasso KC. Haven’t heard of the Student Ball of the Faculty of Informatics yet? Well, that’s no coincidence, since it hasn’t been held for the past six years. So don’t hesitate and come to the long-awaited first ball in years; be part of reviving this tradition and enjoy an evening full of live music, dancing, and socializing.
Hosts Štěpán Lukeš and Valérie Taftová will guide you through the entire evening, and trust us, we couldn’t have made a better choice.
Until midnight, you can look forward to live music performed by the band Kantori, and after midnight, DJ OffBeat, whom you may know not only from the 2025 Semester Opening Party but also from the FF FI MU afterparty, will get the dance floor moving.
You can also look forward to a raffle and a photo booth provided by the faculty laboratory LEMMA.
And all of this in the beautiful atmosphere of a night at the observatory.

Who is the ball for?
For everyone who wants to experience the phenomenal return of the Student Ball of the Faculty of Informatics!
What is the dress code for the ball?
For men, a suit in evening colors is ideal; women may choose a dress, a dress suit, or a skirt that falls below the knee. Guests wearing outfits inspired by the “Night at the Observatory” ball’s starry/space theme are especially welcome. ✨
What time does the event start?
Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the program officially begins at 8:00 p.m.
Will it be possible to leave and then return to the event?
Yes, all you need is an e-ticket on your phone, which will grant you initial entry to the hall. It can also be used to re-enter the hall.
Alternatively, re-entry chips will be available, which you’ll receive upon exiting.
Will there be a cloakroom available?
Yes, the cloakroom will be open to you throughout the event, and you can use it for free.
What about food and drinks at the venue?
An open bar and a buffet with refreshments will be available on site.
Bringing your own food or drinks into the event area is strictly prohibited; we kindly ask that you respect this rule.
Is it possible to pay by card at the event?
Yes, card payments are accepted at the snack bar and the bar. Raffle tickets can only be paid for in cash.
Bude možnost si zakoupit lístek i na místě?
Online prodej lístků bude probíhat i během plesu. Díky okamžitým převodům a QR platbám by toto řešení mělo být pohodlnější než nákup na pokladně. V den konání plesu bude synchronizace plateb z naší banky probíhat každých 5 minut (během plesu pak každou minutu).
